Host a Webinar in Our Upcoming Series on Best Before Dates

Help others spend more time with their food

We’re inviting our community of food waste warriors to host a webinar as part of an upcoming series focused on demystifying best before dates and helping Canadians prevent food waste at home.

If you have a great idea for a session—whether it’s based on research, personal experience, or a case study—we want to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

Your webinar should help people:

  • Understand the true meaning of best before dates
  • Debunk common myths around food date labels
  • Learn how to assess whether food is still good to eat
  • Discover creative tips to use up food nearing the end of its life
  • Explore money-saving food waste prevention strategies
  • Or hear about a food waste prevention project you’ve led or participated in

We welcome proposals in English or French and are especially interested in ideas that will resonate with people in Canada who want to spend more time with their food and make the most of what they buy.

How to submit your idea:

Please include the following in your submission:

  • A brief synopsis of your proposed webinar topic
  • Your credentials – What makes you a credible or experienced presenter on this topic?
  • Preferred language – English or French
  • Preferred date/time of your webinar  – Between September 29 – October 24, 2025.
  • Contact information
  • Any other details you’d like to share

We’ll review all submissions and respond by July 30 to let you know if your webinar has been selected for the series.
