5 Ways with Canned Beans

Canned beans make great tasting, healthy and affordable meals. Once you open a can, they’ll only last three to four days in the fridge. Put those leftover beans to good use with our top five bean tips.

1. Freeze Them

Leftover beans freeze and thaw beautifully. Freeze rinsed beans in tightly sealed containers in convenient amounts. Or freeze in single layer on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag so you can take what you need for soups, salads or smoothies.
