Our Commitment

At Love Food Hate Waste, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are currently in the process of upgrading our website to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards. 

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Love Food Hate Waste is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partial compliance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. 

Active Improvements

We are currently work on the following areas to improve accessibility:

• Navigation: Improving keyboard-only navigation for our checkout process.
• Structure: Reorganizing heading structures (H1, H2, etc.) to assist screen reader users.
• Contrast:  Updating our color palette to meet contrast requirements
