Best Storage
The fridge is the best place to store cauliflower.
Keep cauliflower fresher for longer by storing it in its original packaging or breathable bag in the high-humidity drawer in the fridge.
Can I Freeze It?
Yes.
Slice cauliflower into small florets and blanch for 90 seconds, cool in a bowl of ice water, drain and freeze.
Fresher For Longer
Freshen up cauliflower by placing the stem side in a shallow bowl filled with water.
Use It Up
Don’t forget that the stalks and leaves of a cauliflower are delicious too! Cook along with the florets or slice raw and add to salads.
Did You Know?
If you see a yellowish colouring on cauliflower, don’t be concerned. It’s from exposure to the sun while growing and does not affect edibility.
Brown spots are normal and harmless when small and light brown in colour; if the appearance is not to your liking, use the cauliflower in dips and soups.
