Best Ways To Store And Use Cream

Best Storage

The fridge is the best place to store cream.

Cream, like other dairy products, should be kept in the fridge.

Ensure your fridge is set between 0 and 4°C.

Can I Freeze It?

Yes.

Whip leftover fresh cream before you freeze it to prevent it becoming grainy when thawed. Whipping cream will freeze better than half and half.

Fresher For Longer

Buy only enough cream for what you need and store in the coldest part of the fridge, on the middle shelf and placed near the back.

Use It Up

Add leftover cream to potatoes for extra indulgent mashed potato.

Did You Know?

Trust your nose! Cream can be used a couple days after the best before date if it has been stored in the coldest part of the refrigerator. Take a sniff and you’ll know if it’s good or bad.
